1.割灌除草除藤当林分内杂灌、杂草、藤蔓总覆盖度达80%以上，藤蔓缠绕或者覆盖住植株，争夺阳光和养料，严重影响目的树种的生长，必须采取割灌除草除藤方式进行抚育。割灌除草除藤即采取人割、劈砍等方式，结合当地实际，综合考虑防止水土流失、促进天然更新、保护生物多样性等原则，科学设计抚育方式和强度，进行全面割灌除草除藤，并注重保护珍稀濒危树种、林窗处的幼树幼苗及林下有生长潜力的幼树幼苗。斩草抚育时，将林地内所有杂草、杂灌、芒、藤本全部劈除，草头芒头高度不能超过15cm，要小心避让目的树种（杉、红锥、荷木、火力楠等）（原则上不允许机械除草），将斩下的杂草杂物平铺于植株和带行间，不要挤压伤及幼树。对林地内割灌除藤后的剩余物，应沿等高线水平铺在林地内，让其自然腐烂，经过土壤微生物分解，不断补充养分促进幼树的生长。 2.除萌对抚育林分内目的树种的幼弱萌芽条进行清除，保留优势主干。清除萌芽条时不能损伤主干及基部皮层。
